Mandi has been part of the BBC Hereford and Worcester team since just after the station was launched in 1989.
Her first job was as a phone answerer on the Jeremy Dry show, but she soon found herself doing lots of stuff on air, and became a firm favourite with listeners as Mellow Mandi.
The show won a gold Sony Radio award. When Jeremy left and Mike George joined took over the mid morning show Mandi was re-invented as "Miss Harris", but even a change of name couldn't dent her popularity with listeners.
She's now presents the station's afternoon show, a role which fits in nicely with her out-of-work interests.
In her spare time Mandi sings and plays the piano, and has stared in many a BBC Hereford and Worcester stage show as well as amatuer productions locally.
Performing also runs in the family. Her 14 year old son, Harry, has won a place with the National Youth Theare in London.
