If you give Mike George the shirt off your back he'll iron it in return for a donation to St Richard's Hospice Worcester. On Friday October 1st he'll be ironing anything you bring him outside St Richard's charity shop in Mealcheapen Street, Worcester between 11am and 2pm. So why not bring along anything from your shirts to your socks and make a donation to St Richard's Hospice. Our presenters are determined to prove they will do anything for charity. Andrew Easton will be tinkling the ivories hoping to hear the tinkling of your money going into St Michaels Hospice collecting boxes. Hell be busking his heart out near W H Smiths in High Town Hereford between 12 noon and 2pm on Wednesday September 29th. On Thursday September 30th Dave Bradley will be presenting his programme from a bath full of compost between 1pm and 4pm. Follow the scent to the Swan centre, close to Woolworths in Kidderminster, all in support of Kemp Hospice. Nathan Turvey narrowly escaped having his legs waxed, and instead was sent packing for a day at a local Supermarket.
If you want to raise money for BBC Hereford and Worcester's Money Marathon - Hospices Appeal 2004, you can download an information pack which gives details of the hospices and ways in which you can donate money to the various appeals. We will forward donations to the appropriate hospice and that way we can keep a running total.
