Your Reviews: Episode 2

Gaynor Faye as Anna

We asked for your comments on episode 2, you said:

"The Chase is feisty, exciting, quite gritty."
"A very compelling drama with superb acting. The Chase is feisty, exciting, quite gritty and has lots of different storylines going on. Really enjoying it."

Dawn McGuckin, West Yorkshire

"I stumbled across the first episode and thought it would be a gentle drama we could watch as a family. How wrong I was. I'm not a prude and have no objections to minor swearing on the TV, but not at 8pm. Come on BBC, have you moved the watershed without telling anyone? Either move the programme to a later time or warn viewers that the characters use unnecessary profanities."

Angela, Scotland

"Excellent - nice to see something worth watching on a Sunday night again."

Dean Smith, Yorkshire

"A dull, predictable, and unlikely plot."
"What trot, the BBC can come up with better than this for Sunday evenings. It's not much better than an Aussie soap. Previous Sunday evening light dramas have been quirky, fun and entertaining. This left me very disappointed. A dull, predictable, and unlikely plot. I hope it doesn't make a second series."

Geoff Le Messurier, Devon

"Has anyone else noticed the similarities between The Chase and Born and Bred? Warring family, curmudgeonly old father, eccentric patients. The only difference is that this one's got animals and isn't as well made."

Pete, Barrow

"The drama has only just begun in this great series."
"I wasn't very sure of this drama after watching episode 1, but this episode was fantastic. Gaynor Faye and Nicola Stephenson's acting was just brilliant during the argument. The drama has only just begun in this great series. Roll on episode 3."

Emma, Northampton

"One of the most critical stages of a surgical procedure is the recovery of the patient. Yet in this episode the post operation needed of both the kitten and the dog were neglected while the team discussed their love lives and non-related issues. By all means have a chit-chat after the patient is safely installed in recovery."

A Nicholls, Suffolk

"This is great Sunday night entertainment. The actors were class, for instance Nicola Stephenson, who never fails to brighten up my television screen.

The storyline was easy to pick up, unlike some other dramas shown on Sundays."

Helena, Hampshire
