Shakespeare
The company was formed in 1969 for Devonport Dockyard employees, their families and friends but we always welcome new members from all walks of life.

Rehearsing Jack and the Beanstalk
Jack (Hazel Greenhalgh) is in trouble with his mum, Dame Trott (Adrian Hooper)
Our aim has always been to give a high standard of entertainment and to maintain a friendly but committed amateur dramatic society, staging a pantomime and musical show each year.

The Dockyard Revue Players are now well into rehearsals for "Musical Reflections" to be staged at the Plymouth Athenaeum from 20 to 24 May 2003 nightly at 7.30pm with a matinee on the 24 May at 2.30pm.

Vernon Smith is our Producer/Musical Director for this show.

Sadly, our plans to stage "South Pacific" had to be cancelled because we were unable to recruit enough young men.

However, not wanting to disappoint our loyal audiences we shall be presenting "Musical Reflections", a colourfully staged and costumed pot-pourri of some of the highly popular and successful shows stage over the past years.

We will be including excerpts from "My Fair Lady", Brigadoon", "Oklahoma!", "Carousel" and "Hans Christian Anderson" - plus a medley of Ivor Novello songs.

Our own soloists and chorus will be joined by guest singer, Ivor Jago (the Cornish Caruso). Tickets are £7 all seats (£6 Children, OAP's and unwaged).

For advanced bookings ring (01752)493363 or (01752)787788.
