New opportunity: tender for the production of BBC annual religious events

We've published an invitation to tender for our annual religious events broadcast at Christmas and Easter, including Easter Live Worship, Carols from King's and Christmas Day Live Worship. The contract is offered on a work for hire basis with anticipated delivery from March 2027 until December 2028.

The opportunity is open to all producers based outside of London who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the tender document and the programmes must qualify as regional productions on all three of the Ofcom Regional criteria.

The deadline for initial submissions is 11 June 2026 at 2pm.
