Do we still need to remember D-Day?
modern day soldiers in iraq
Do we still need to remember D-Day 60 years on when other conflicts, like that in Iraq (above) are going on?
Whether it's just another chapter in the history books, whether it's something your grandparents used to tell you about or whether it's something you've learned about from the TV... we want to hear YOUR thoughts 60 years on.

* What do you think about the men who took part in the Normandy landings on 6th June 1944...Were they heroes, or just doing their job?

* Do you think there's any point remembering events on D-Day, six decades on...or is it now time to move on? After all, there are other conflicts around the world to think about now..?

* If you DO think it's important to remember it, why?

* And, on a much lighter note tell us what your favourite D-Day film or computer war game is - and why!

* Or just e-mail us with your thoughts about the coverage of this anniversary in the media!
